Ebay requires identification verification for bids over $15,000. This can be in the form of verifying a credit card (used for identification purpose only, your card will not be charged with the bid) or alternative identification verification. This is a one-time process, however it can take up to 24 hours to receive confirmation. We recommend you make application for identification verification early.

If you already have a credit card on file with Ebay, you do not need to submit again.
